Since the spring, I have had it in my head to go back to school AGAIN. But this time I will finish.
I decided to go back to Baker and work off the credits I already have. The problem with Baker is that they don't full credits, so most of the credits either don't transfer, or they don't transfer at full credit. I also had to make the decision as to how I would get my schedule to fit Bakers. Not all the classes I needed to take were available online so I have to figure out how to work out taking the on site classes. With work, church and my visits with Seth; my schedule is pretty tight.
So today, I decided to look into the University of Phoenix. There is a learning center off Hall Road, so since I had the day off work, I went over there to talk to someone. After finding out that the entire program I want is offered as online classes, is offered at the associate and bachoelor level and they accept the finacial aid I have; I decided to enroll with them.
Typically, I will be taking 2 classes every 9 weeks. There are no breaks between classes, unless you want to take a break, so I can take classes all year round. Depending on how many credits transfer from all the schools I have attended in the last 10 years, if I start in August, I will graduate with my associates in March 2010. I think 17 months for an associates is not bad at all.
I am excited to be able to go to school at 2am if I truely want to. I think this is a good educational choice for me since I am a self taught kind of person anyways. I feel this will be the edge I need to finally finish a degree and get ahead in life. Everytime I have left school has been due to home or work reasons. If I can go to school at any time or day of the week, I think that takes away any excuse I have to fail.
So wish me luck! Classes start August 25!
I love that I have support staff to allow me to do the other things that need to be done. .
In the word's of bloggers everywhere, "WOOT"
I also have my outlook synced at home and work with my phone as the hub of it all. I have all my home and work contacts and schedules at my fingertips. I also was recently able to put my MSN email (hotmail, live, whatever they call themselves) into outlook which I think is new because Hotmail never used to support POP3.
The only thing I need now is a micro SD card larger than 512 mb. I am shopping for a 4 GB, but i thought they came in an 8 GB... 'cause we all need 8 GB of memory on our phone!!!!
He's smiling because he knows I can't do this.

OHHHH MY GOODDD
AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH
Nicholas started to crawl yesterday. He also has two teeth popping out now, both on the left, one on top and one on the bottom.
He also magically learned to sit himself up all the way today and decided to manage his balance and not topple over.
Just 3 days ago, there was only rolling and backwards scooting. His sitting like a tripod and souldn't balance on his own.
It is amazing how babies just pick these things up so quickly. He will be walking in a hot minute.
I had Seth all last week. He was able to come to work with me on Friday and we had some little mundane tasks for him to do. He punched in and out for the day and was paid $5.00 for his time. He thought that was the best and he told Dr. Kue that he would be back for Mid-winter break to do more work.
Otherwise, same stuff here. Still looking for a place to move. Had some problems with the IRS getting my taxes filed, but I think I was able to get it all stragihted out yesterday. I pray.
